After 2 and a half years in operation we have sadly ceased trading. We have operated since day 1 with the simple values of transparency and honesty, paying our renewable obligations on time and having customer service that we are proud of.
Ofgem, the energy regulator, has appointed Scottish Power as the new energy supplier for our customers as of Sunday 6th December.
Scottish Power advises – “To help us set up your account correctly, please click here to provide us with information we need, such as your meter readings and Direct Debit details. Please provide this by Monday 14th December so that we can progress your transfer quickly. If you have a Smart meter, please still enter your meter readings. It’s quick, simple and secure.
Please note that without your Direct Debit details, you’ll have to pay for your energy by cash or cheque, which will work out more expensive for you. Once you’ve entered your details, we’ll take care of everything and keep you updated throughout.
If you’re owed money because your Yorkshire Energy account was in credit, please don’t worry. We’ll ensure any outstanding credit balance is added to your new Scottish Power account or issued to you by cheque.
Current and former customers who are in debit to Yorkshire Energy should wait to hear from Scottish Power or Yorkshire Energy’s administrators who will talk to them about repayment arrangements.”
We would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to our customers and colleagues for their loyal support over the years. Continue to expect great service, push for green energy and do your part to get the UK to net zero.
You can find support and advice on the Scottish Power and Ofgem Website. Alternatively, if you need additional support, you can call Citizens Advice on 03454 04 05 06 or email them via their webform. Advice will also be shared on Ofgem’s twitter@ofgem and facebook
